RE: Scissorhands in Denmark

“Hello Ashley,”

Just letting you know some of the results we have been achieving since the introduction of Scissorhands in 2010.

As can see from our orders we are selling quite a few scissors but more interestingly is the flow on effect after the visit by the sales person, or when you and David come over to educate.

Firstly, by having the scissors to show and sell it gives my team a reason to visit salons they would not normally visit with wet products. (Every hairdresser needs scissors, right?) So we have a proven door opener which allows our team to revisit the salon and start talking about other products.

Secondly, after purchasing the scissors and attending a training / education/ demonstration the hairdressers feel more confident and genuinely see the benefits of your ergonomic cutting techniques. The other interesting thing is the quick colour tips you give in your seminars. (especially introducing men’s toning - very clever!)  The hairdressers do pick up on the time saving elements of your techniques and start recommending “flashes” of colour or “quick tones” etc.

We have picked up several new accounts from salons attending your seminars who have purchased scissors and have subsequently stocked our retail products or have requested a colour demonstration.

So to encapsulate, “Scissorhands scissors + education/ seminars = growth.”
